She led the field of 68 golfers with a minus-three total on the par-3 holes as well as with a minus-four total on the par-5 holes. Hirsch shared fourth place with Monica Jung of Southern Utah and Haley Dunn of Dixie State.įreman's round of 69 on a windy Tuesday included eight birdies, a pair of bogeys and a double-bogey. Individual winner was Annie Freman of Santa Clara with rounds of 73 and 69 for a 142 total, four strokes ahead of runners-up Jamie Corr, playing on Cal Poly's "B" team, and Juhee Lee of Seattle. There were 11 teams in the two-day tournament. Seattle finished second at 616 while UC Riverside claimed third place with a 624 total. Hirsch (pictured at right) finished with a 148 total, tied for fourth place, and Cal Poly won with a four-person 608 total on the 5,996-yard, par-73 course. A 73 by Madison Hirsch helped the Cal Poly women's golf team win the Firestone Grill Invitational on Tuesday at the Cypress Ridge Golf Course.
